whit friday at tameside
Well, Old Hall Brass managed to compete at 8 (yep, count 'em!) contests, a very good night's work. We played at Aldwinians RUFC in Audenshaw, Denton, Stalybridge Celtic, Stalybridge Labour Club, Upper Mossley, Heyrod, Broadoak and finishing at Hursts Cross. Big thanks go to Maria and Orla (OJ) Green, Charlotte, Jess, Dave and Janet Royle, Janet Coates, Mike Rourke, Emma Sykes, Jacko and Jane from Salford and Dave Root for making his way from Sheffield to play on the night with us. Whilst we didn't figure in the prizes (boo!!!), the band aquitted themselves with pride in their first trip to the Whit Friday marches in 4 years. Thanks also to North for relaxing the beer embargo after the sixth contest! Photos to follow (with thanks to Jess and Janet Royle)
Getting ready for whit friday

New Web Site
May 2010: The old web site was looking a bit dated and technical issues meant we had to do an overhaul. Whilst most changes are with the internal workings of the site, the new design does allow us to add new features so keep coming back as we develop the site.
